Hearing Screenings:
The CORAL lab will also be offering free hearing screenings to local public schools. These screens will be conducted by undergraduate and graduate students in the CORAL lab, and they will quickly identify at-risk students; please note, they are not official diagnostic tests. Students identified as “at risk” should receive a complete audiological evaluation from a certified audiologist.
Speech-Language Screenings:
As well, the CORAL lab will be offering local public schools free speech-language screenings, conducted by the undergraduate and graduate students of the CORAL lab. These screens quickly identify students who are at-risk for having a speech or language disorder; please note, that these screenings are not complete evaluations. Students identified as “at risk” should receive a speech-language assessment from a certified speech-language pathologist.
